Reproductions of Costa Rica poisonous tropical forest frogs and toads, hand made, using mud from the woods, then baked, hot painted and varnished.

These unique gifts are made at different size scales: 1 to 1, 1 to 2, 1 to 5 and 1 to 10, depending on the frog’s natural size.

The objective is to create an almost similar reproduction, trying to adhere to the same anatomy and color of the real species of Costa Rica.

Every gift frog is hand made and unique. We do not use a mold, which provides our frog individual and unique characteristics. Every frog lays on a wood base, which has the scientific frog or toad name, I.D. number and artist’s signature tagged on it.

We do not have a mass production, which makes every frog unique. As it happens in nature. Every frog takes approximately one week to be created, which includes a high level quality control.

With our creations, we do not pollute the environment, nor deforest the forests from Costa Rica. Wood used on the creation of these frogs belongs to fallen trees or pieces of wood that land in our beaches’ shores. All materials are biodegradable and non toxic.
